Job Description

After a period of rapid expansion, Falcon Digital – a new up and coming digital agency in the Southwest of England, is looking to grow and nurture our future team. We currently looking to hire a Web Developer Apprentice.

Your growth and development will be fostered, as we provide ample opportunities for you to improve your coding skills through on-the-job experience and your college coursework. Working in a dynamic industry environment, you will be guided and mentored by a seasoned developer, who will assist you with both projects and daily tasks, thus enabling you to apply your knowledge from the outset.

As you work on real-world applications, you will aid in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from ideation and analysis to requirements gathering, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

As part of our Web Development team, you’ll have the opportunity to create solutions that improve our client’s websites. This could be anything from bug fixes to new features and tests. Plus, you’ll get to help with supporting materials like documentation, issue reports, and customer support.

• Assisting the web development team with building new websites.
• Support user questions and issues, providing first line of communication to address and resolve concerns.
• WordPress plugin management.
• General WordPress maintenance.
• Domain name management.
• SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Management.
• Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console Management.
• Google My Business and Citation Management.
• Server administration and maintenance.
• Assist end-users with technical usage of the systems, integrations or new options.
• Manage APIs with external applications for CRM, Marketing Automation, Webchat, Reporting, etc.
• Create users, set permissions, and document process changes and new development.
• Assist with any ad-hoc duties as and when required. This may include sourcing content for projects (including text, images, and video), adding content to websites.

Qualifications Required
