Welcome Evi Dunphy to the Falcon Digital team!

Happy Monday everyone! Today is a wonderful day for us at Falcon Digital, today we welcome the wonderful Evi Dunphy! She is an extremely driven young professional with a drive for good business, client development and professional digital marketing. What is it you love about this industry?

My favourite thing about this industry is that it is never boring, the field is constantly evolving as we are only ever one or two steps away from the release of a new social media platform, piece of technology, or social whim that can redefine what it means to build a brand. I love that there is always more to learn and discover.

What do you value most about your job at Falcon Digital?

The one thing I value most is the potential for growth. There is so much support and encouragement to succeed and become the best digital marketer you can be. It is incredibly important to myself to find a company who invests in me and I have found that here at Falcon Digital.

What are the benefits, in your opinion, working for Falcon Digital?

There are an endless amount of benefits, however my main one would be that they encourage a healthy work/personal life balance. We are encouraged to live an active lifestyle and seek support when needed. Another benefit of mine, which I have struggled to find in the past, is that our voices matter. Falcon Digital facilitates all recommendations from colleagues and we are encouraged to come forward with any ideas relating to professional (and personal) development.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I really enjoy visiting independent coffee shops, the more unique the better! I have always found joy in discovering little hidden spots and gems around Devon as it is such a beautiful place to live.

Do you have any pets?

At my parents’ house we have a chocolate Labrador called ‘Russell’ who is 4 years old. We also have a ginger cat called ‘Marlo’ who is 3 years old. At my current home we have 2 cats, ‘Anne’ and ‘Kate’, who are both 10 years old.

What hobbies do you have?

I am a big fan of the outdoors, including anything from going for a gentle beach walk to hiking up Snowdon. I also love water sports and I am always ready to go swimming in the sea, even if it’s raining!

What is your favourite meal?

My mother is half Indian and my favourite meal would have to be a home made Aloo Gobi, which is a vegetarian curry made with potatoes and cauliflower.

What stand down day is your favourite at Falcon Digital?

My favourite stand down day would have to be clay shooting, I have never had the pleasure of doing it before so I can’t wait to give it a go!

What does your job at Falcon Digital entail?

My job as a Digital Marketing Specialist entails providing website support, client management and client SEO.

As a small charity with limited financial resources, we were delighted to have been able to find a web development agency to take on the re-development of our project at minimal cost to our organisation. Charlie and his colleagues worked quickly to get our new site up and running, working closely with us to ensure it met our specifications and requirements. The site was built on the Wordpress platform which makes for ease of editing with those of our volunteers less technically-minded!
