Charity and Community Scheme Terms and Conditions

Congratulations on being selected for our charity and community scheme, we at Falcon Digital are very much looking forward to working with you and getting your charity found online.

Your package details will be outlined in your acceptance email.

The donated hours as listed in your acceptance email

Our Charity and Community Terms and Conditions

The charity and community scheme includes all features as listed above, for clarity they are listed below also:

Licence Fees
The only cost to your charity are the licence fees for your advanced website which we cannot get for free from our suppliers. These include anti-SPAM licences, caching plugins, security plugins, server licences and many other licences to ensure your website runs smoothly and safely. You will be told in advance of work starting what your licence fees per year will be. We will invoice your fees once a year. Payment terms are usually 14 days.

Hosting
Your website will be hosted on our dedicated UK charity server based in London. We cannot host the website on any third-party servers due to the security implications and the SSO (single sign-on) features we use. Each website has daily back-ups carried out for peace of mind and uses the latest security and caching systems. If you cannot host with us, then we cannot provide you with the charity package. Our server is run on 100% renewable energy for your records.

SSL
We will source, install and manage your SSL certificate on your behalf and cover all costs associated with it.

Maintenance
Falcon Digital will be responsible for your plugin, server and website updates, so you have complete peace of mind. Try to refrain from updating the plugins yourself as this can sometimes cause compatibility issues. We will be responsible for the site health so you do not need to worry about this at all. Falcon Digital will also cover your website with our insurance and warranty. We will spend no more than thirty minutes a month on your maintenance.

Uptime Monitoring
Your charity website and or platform will be pinged every 60 seconds to ensure that it is alive and healthy. This protects the site from losing SEO (search engine optimisation) reputation from downtime as well as improving UX (user experience).

Price Changes
If there is going to be a change in your yearly licence renewals of more than 1% of the costs the year before we will be in touch to ensure you approve the price change.

Cancelling and Moving Your Website
If your charity has folded/dissolved, please contact us to get the site removed and forwarded to your preferred destination. If you would like to move your website to another provider, we will need to access and remove our premium plugins to do so. Please contact us to get this arranged. There will be a surcharge of £150.00 (+VAT) for us to do this. Please note, you will see a drastic change in visual appearance as we remove our page design plugin which is covered in your licence fees. If your site is migrated to another provider without our permission or removal of our premium plugins we will invoice and collect for the cost of the design of the website.

Backups

We will take daily backups of your website. These will only be used in the event of a breach or attack. Or when a website restore is required.

Support
We will also provide you with website support, for example, adding blogs and changing items for you on the website. We donate thirty minutes per calendar month for this service. We also have more advanced support packages if required. Please speak to your account manager for more information on this.
