About Rowe and Woodward:
Rowe and Woodward have been specialising in bespoke joinery projects, shopfitting and all types of interior fit-outs for 20 years.
Tim Rowe and Matthew Woodward first met back in September 1988 while attending South Devon Technical College studying shop fitting, bench joinery and site fixing. Tim’s placement was with Benbow interiors and Matthews placement was with Staverton joinery. Both companies carried out high end contracts for major retail clients.
Upon completing their apprenticeships Tim decided to start his own business in Newton Abbot making bespoke joinery, exhibition stands and furniture. Whilst working mainly for his own clients he would also work on a self employed basis for other companies such as British European Airways, Alan Peters furniture, Greenheart and many other local companies.
Matthew has a similar story, he also worked for many local shop fitting companies on a self employed basis carrying out high quality contracts around the country, he spent 2 years working in Germany. Upon his return he started his own company manufacturing bars and shop fitting items.
Tim and Matthew often helped each other out with various projects until in 1999 when they decided to join forces and work together as a partnership on shop fits and interior fit outs. They incorporated on 21st May 2008 trading as Rowe & Woodward Ltd and have continued to trade successfully since, carrying out joinery packages on many commercial shop fitting projects such as Marks & Spencer, McDonalds, Co op, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrison’s, Tesco, NYX L’Oréal, and many more.
In 2018, we laid the Blue Lias Limestone floor for ‘The Secular Retreat’ at Chivelstone in Devon. A house designed by one of the greatest architects in the world, Peter Zumthor.
Rowe and Woodward have remained a small company to ensure a high level of personnel service is provided and full attention is applied to every individual project – whether its a full shop fit-out or a bespoke storage system in someones home. We have a wealth of knowledge concerning the construction industry and we make sure we apply all we have learnt to each and every project – however big or small!
What is SEO?
SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” In no-nonsense terms, it defines the process of improving the visibility of your site when people search for products or services related to your business in Google, Bing, and other search engines. The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to garner attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business.
There are many different elements of a website that can have an effect on SEO. These are often described as ‘ranking factors’ as they help to increase your website’s rankings in search results. Search engines’ number one goal is to serve results to their users that are accurate and reliable so that people keep using their service. So, search engines release advice on what it is they’re looking for when they decide how to rank a website, or what they deem these ‘ranking factors’ to be. Common ranking factors include site speed and security, content, user experience and the quality of links that point to your website – a digital cocktail mixed especially for your business.
